I am an assistant professor in the Department of Strategy and Organization at EMLYON Business School. My research interest focuses on how firm governance relates to different strategic choices of firms in both market and non-market environment, and the implications of those strategies on firm-level outcomes. It is on the nexus of firm governance, strategy, and performance.

My specific research topics to date include antecedents and consequences of paying bribes by firms and its impact on their investment, the competitive advantage of business group affiliation in the political environment, the role of board of directors in managing political uncertainty, governance structure and firm innovation, and the role of board of directors’ experience on remuneration and firm performance.
