Tao Han

Tao Han is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Organization at emlyon Business School. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of international business and strategy. In his dissertation, Tao studies the behavioral factors in firms’ corporate development strategies (e.g., global strategy and merger & acquisition) and how they translate into firm performance. His specific research topics include firms’ location choice in foreign direct investments, the performance effect of the board of directors in cross-border acquisitions and firms’ information disclosure strategies in M&As. Prior to joining emlyon, he pursued his Ph.D. in Management at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a double degree in Law, both from Peking University in China.
