Tao Wang

Tao Wang is currently Associate Professor of Management and Organizations at the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University in Japan.

He is interested in understanding the interactions between identity and action in the context of business and society, in particular how market identity emerges, changes, and sustains, and how organizations and audiences interact and shape such identity.

Current research projects focus on social evaluation in the hospitality industry, organizational and professional identity in creative industries, and firms’ nonmarket strategy in developing economies.
